Rendering of penrose tiles

These tiles have been arranged according to the rotational symmetry that is at the basis of penrose tiling. The tiles allow a large number of different confiugrations, also more familiar rhombic patterns.

Another configuration that shows how the tiles can be grown from floor level to any desired height.

participation in the construction of a space divider

We are interested in developing a structural framework which can incorporate different technological elements from plants to flexible display technologies and paper. Please also see PaperManipulation for the types of folding and scoring techniques.
